First, I would really like to thank all the people who read my stuff and leave kind and encouraging comments - I appreciate you all so much!  

I am a Southern California mom to two kids, learning how to blog, hub, Tweet, Facebook, Pinterest, Google, auction on eBay, and discovering all these nifty things online.  I spend my time trading stock options online, volunteering at school, doing DIY projects at home, working out at the gym, and studying the Bible.  I like sharing ways to save money.  My latest project:  building a website for my son's elementary school.  I self-taught and wrote the code from scratch!

I continue to be surprised at how many people have visited my How-to-Make-an-AYSO-soccer-team-banner hub!  There are a lot of other soccer moms and dads out there.

My latest passion has been food-related:  I love baking, cooking, and Asian cuisine.  Unfortunately, my family has picky eater syndrome and so it's an ongoing struggle to get everyone to try new foods and healthy foods, too!

I am an avid Harry Potter fan as well as a fan of Tolkien and C.S. Lewis.  Just recently enjoyed reading the Hunger Games trilogy as well. I believe as Tolkien did that fairy tales reveal the truths that are already written on our souls.
